Hello Green Spot Fans!  

Happy June! It’s time for another update:  

We were originally planning to go back to our regular hours starting today, however, we will be closing at 6pm at least through Tuesday to help our staff close up and get home safely before curfew. We will plan tor resume our regular hours (Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm, Sundays 11am-5pm) once curfew is lifted.  

At this time, our spot washes, and other grooming services are still closed. We are beginning renovations to our store, which means, for now, we have to operate in half the space! When you visit us in-store next, you’ll likely notice that our dog & cat foods are now temporarily located where our spot washes were, and will be located again after renovations.   

During our remodel, we will continue to have three ways in which you can safely shop with us! Order online at greenspotomaha.com for pick-up or local delivery, call in your order at 402-614-7768, or we are happy to welcome you into our (temporarily condensed!) store for in store shopping. 
 

A few important things for you to know when you visit us next:  

  • We will start with the saddest - please, no dogs until further notice. It’s really hard to social distance with dogs because everyone wants to say hi. Add to that potentially loud construction noises and the like and we just don’t feel it’s a good mix. We will still have curbside treats though if you are walking by, picking up a curbside order or with a partner who can wait outside with your pup. Please call us to arrange harness fitting times for your dog(s) during non-peak hours.
  • Due to having a smaller space temporarily, we are asking that no more than 6 (SIX) customers are in our store at any one time, so you might have to wait a few minutes until we can allow you in.
  • Disposable masks, hand washing stations, and hand sanitizers are available for staff and customers. Please ask a team member for a mask if you’d like one. 
  • Please solo-shop - one person from a family at a time. 
  • Please practice social distancing guidelines - we have placed 6 foot markers at our counter to help you navigate space. 

  • Due to renovations, we’ve had to condense our space dedicated to big bags of food. We ask for your patience with us if your requested kind of food is out of stock at the moment. We are doing daily restocks from our warehouse and would be happy to process your order in-store and bring it to the store the next day for pick up or deliver your bag of food to you if it’s in stock at our warehouse. Please allow staff to get your bag(s) for you when shopping with us in-store. 

  • Whenever possible, please pay by card - we are aiming for the most contactless transaction possible.

  • Please don’t touch things you are not intending to buy - we hate saying it, but look with your eyes, not with your paws.

  • Reusable bags are not allowed at this time.
  • Online shopping at greenspotomaha.com for curbside pick-up or local delivery is still the best, most contactless option for shopping with us at this time.
 

We appreciate your patience with us! We are working REALLY hard to fill orders, answer phone/text/email, serve in-store customers, and to maintain a safe and healthy shopping experience for everyone. Thank you and we can't wait to see you!
