Near the Wisconsin Dells, just a short drive from Chicago, Camp Dogwood is a fun-filled camp dedicated to dogs and their dedicated people! The owners of The Green Spot have visited Camp Dogwood a few times and had a great stay.

Whether you and your pup are avid outdoor lovers or just beginning your journey, Camp Dogwood has a spot for you! You and your pup vacation together while participating in dog-centric activities during the day. Yes, this is like the summer camp you attended as a kid, but for adults and their dogs! Sessions and activities are geared toward every skill level, from beginner to advanced; choose the best sessions for you and your dog. The flexibility Camp offers its guests is second to none! The staff and director of Camp are knowledgeable and fun!

  

Planning Your Trip:
Everything you need to know is conveniently located on the Camp’s website. Fall camp is their mainstay and fills up fast, so don’t wait to book your adventure as they book up fast! 
The best part about Camp is its flexibility. Whether you want to stay at Camp or off-site, there are options for every pack. You’ll have housing options ranging from staying in “The Lodge” (similar to a modest hotel, but without the TV!), clusters of small cabins, tent/ RV camping or staying off-site. You and your pup can decide how close to nature you want to be; the choice is yours!  

   

What To Do:
Every stay at Camp Dogwood is different as sessions change with each Camp experience.
Here’s an example of what your time at Camp Dogwood may look like. From agility, nose work, and canine good citizen testing to beach swimming, group hikes, and learning pet massage, there’s something for everyone at Camp! Each camp experience includes:  

  • Choose between 25-30 “dog-centric” activities.
  • Training sessions that emphasize positive reinforcement and fun for you and your dog(s).
  • Lectures and demonstrations that center on enriching the time we have with our four-legged friends.
